DESIGNER SERVICES ORDER RECEIVING & INSPECTION

When your clients’ orders arrive at your warehouse, the CMS Inventory receiving functionality allows your team to capture all of the necessary shipment information and meet client-specific inspection and exception reporting requirements.

  • During the receiving process, CMS collects all inbound BOL information.  Staff can note any discrepancies between the stated contents and those delivered, like missing or additional items.
  • If requested, the receiving staff can perform detailed inspections for all goods and record any damages or other exceptions.
  • The delivery record can include unlimited photos of the shipment and contents.
  • In addition to standard inventory attributes, CMS can capture client-specific custom fields.
  • The put-away storage process generates barcodes for all items.
  • Upon completion, a Receiving Report is emailed to the client who has access to all receipt and content information via the CMS Client Connect portal.
  • Billing can include custom client-specific order and inventory per-item and flat-rate handling fees.

 

CLIENT STORAGE LOT MANAGEMENT & BILLING

The CMS Inventory warehouse and storage billing processes allow project managers to store and bill your clients in a variety of configurations.  Clients have access to their inventory and storage billing via CMS Client Connect.

  • CMS offers your clients an unlimited number and combination of storage lots to segregate contents by project, end customer, or any other identifier.
  • Your choice of monthly, quarterly or annual billing for each lot or combination of lots will help meet your client’s invoicing needs.
  • Lots can be grouped into an unlimited number of invoices so clients can better track and manage their projects’ storage expenses.
  • Storage can be billed using “high water mark”, end of month balance, or flat rate.
  • The client’s storage usage is adjusted by every addition or removal of inventory items to fully automate the billing process.
  • CMS offers warehouse managers unlimited user-defined warehouses and warehouse locations with inventory reporting at location, client, lot, and warehouse levels.
  • CMS gives managers accurate warehouse usage reporting to support revenue reporting.

 

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

The fully-integrated CMS Enterprise, InventoryMobile Manager,  Move Audit and Client Connect modules streamline your delivery and installation services to allow you to provide outstanding service and visibility to your clients. Clients can browse and create inventory delivery requests quickly through CMS Client Connect, including special instructions and requested delivery dates.

 

  • In CMS Enterprise, outbound warehouse “pull” tickets and delivery BOL tickets can be created automatically from online client requests. All client-entered information is transferred, eliminating data errors and expediting processing.
  • Warehouse managers and dispatchers will have immediate access to work tickets for assigning and scheduling.
  • Onsite project managers will have access to all delivery data, including photographs of requested delivery items, through CMS MobileManager.  They can collect photos, record exceptions, and collect eSignatures at completion.
  • CMS MoveAudit enables crew members to record before and after delivery and installation photos and notes.
  • All activity, including request statuses, upcoming and completed work requests, photos, notes, and signed paperwork are available to clients 24/7 via CMS Client Connect.
